B757 C Check

On the first day of Hari Raya I got to work on this B757 which was also in the final days of its C Check. Apparently its being leased by the Saudi Royals for a few months and later it'll be leased by FedEx. All i got to do was reinstall all 20 slat drive actuators.

Power plant...powerful engines indeed

A friend of mine send me this image of a GE engine whose turbine disc broke off during an engine run and got lodged into another aircraft's engine core cowl.Lucky it didn't happen in flight and no one was hurt.

Nose Gear Installation Job

Today we installed the nose gear on this B747 and it took only 2 guys to complete the installation in 8 hrs.

The nose wheel is still hanging in the air. It'll only touch the ground when when the aircraft is off the main jacks.

Me and my Nigerian "Coleman the Jackass" buddy who did the installation.

Next job is this wing main gear....i wonder how long will this take as there is 4 of the to be done.

Changing the Scrapper and Dynamic seal on the Oleo of A320 was rather a challenging but yet enjoyable task, especially doing it during the weekend. If you ever wonder why it as grounded, this picture will give you enough explanation.

Air Ground System changeover.

Paree...make sure you configure the Aircraft to flight mode before jacking procedure c/out, or else, this will happen...
